Basically, this assignment are require to implement social terms in a comic strip.Which can be done as group of 2. Our group decided to use stereotype as our social based on the well understanding we had from the tutorial activities and lecture given. I am really enjoy doing this assignment because we do have a choice to create our own story and comic and it is a great experience for me.
This assignment is required to apply social terms. We are required to write a journal approximately 200 words. For me i am had chosen Stereotyping as my social term. During this assignment i had learnt more about social psychology and getting more understand and also able to apply in our daily life as well.
In our final assignment for this module, we have to emphasis on the understanding towards theoretical frameworks and daily life application within the social psychology context. In groups of 5, we are required to pick an interesting topic that we learnt from our psychology class. The space designed has to either improve or reduce certain social behaviour. The design has to be presented on a mah-jong paper along with a detailed write up of the design.Beside that each of our group member have to provide their own reflection video as a conclusion of the assignment. The main concept of the whole building was inspired by the Christmas tree and with the present giving concept.
My name is Lum Si Chu and my
student id is 0319502. The tutor name of my Effective Public Communication is
Mohd Ridhwan Abdullah and my course code is COM30103. Through this whole course
I have learnt about the social communication and much example were given during
the lesson. Therefore, I am having better concepts toward communication and
some kind of specific terms as well. For example, implementing different
specific communication terms for certain situation, communication knowledge,
sign and etc. This module get to introduces and develop me into some basic
concepts and principle in the daily application of group communication.
Throughout the whole module I am finally having stronger concepts of
communication, both verbal and nonverbal, and how people behave and communicate
in different situation consistently. Furthermore, I been enjoying every class
with the “cold jokes” was given by our lecture. The funny topics were discussed
during the class to ensure students no getting bored. Thank you to our lecture
which always throwing us the infinity of
“jokes boom” giving us a very detailing lecture in every lesson per
slides. I do enjoy the class activities based on interesting topic were given
and giving us a great opportunities to improve my presentation skills. Thank
you for the chances to get involved in the blog assignment. During the
assignment I have learnt about photo taking, organising skills and team
cooperation skills as well. Hence, my conversation to the others is getting
more fluent compare to the last time before taking this course. Although, the
learning process was really hard as it is kind of pack in time to let us refer
to our lecture notes due to our architecture assignment. Based on the class
activities given, the relationship between my classmate and me were getting
closer. Beside that, I am getting a
better analysing skills in situation and the verbal linkage between humans. In
a quick review for myself, speaking ability increased, confident of speaking
increased, knowledge of communications increased and analysing skills increased
as well. Thank you to Taylor Universities for giving me the opportunities to
get involved in this interesting course, providing me a suitable studies environment
and a fantastic tutor for giving me attractive lecture.
This class activities is to provide us a basic concept of doing business presentation. It was a pre presentation. During this activities we do create a car brand with job position and list. This activities is a starting point of our business and the learning process for business .

During this assignment i have learnt about more business skills. Based on the planing, processing , selling and closing i do realise that it was not easy to run a business. For doing business we do need a lot of effort and times for looking up our stall. Beside that, we do hit our target which exceed RM2500 in this assignment. It was really fun to get involved in this assignment. Selling our product around with our friends. The relationship between each other increase. Other than that, i realise that getting attraction from the other was really hard and it was a skilful knowledge to get around.
