Aim to visit:

1. Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque

Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, people call this mosque as the Iron Mosque Based on the building structure and outcome of the building.There is a mirab wall made of 13 metre high. The mosque employs 'architectural wire mesh' imported from China and Germany.  

2. Batu Caves, Selangor

Batu Caves is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples in the Gombak district, 13 kilometres north of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It takes its name from the Sungai Batu. This place is very popular at the large status and the staircase been design by the local Indian. 

3. Church of Our Lady Lourdes

Church of Our Lady of Lourdes was built in 1900 and it was just a mere wooden house in the beginning. The church is a rare example of masonry structure. It has complicated spires and complex pattern.The stained glass windows are used to convey religious morals. The coloured glass is crafted into stained glass windows to form patterns or pictures of Gods.

4.Royal Klang Mosque

The Royal Klang Mosque designed from the Middle Eastern. highlighting a great big dome and a large space with high celling.  The overall building was built from concrete cement.There are two large prayer areas covered with intricate carpets and this house of prayer is fully air-conditioned.

5.Thean Hou Temple

Thean Hou Temple is one of the largest Chinese Temple in Kuala Lumpur. This syncretic temple with elements of Buddhism and Confucianism is a grandiose structure and represents a successful combination of modern architectural techniques and authentic traditional design featuring imposing pillars, spectacular roofs, ornate carvings and intricate embellishment. Its grand architecture has made it a popular tourist destination.

During this assignment i have learnt team spirit and some extra information related with green buildings and plantation as well. It is the final challenge for me and it nearly causes me faint during the progress. Based on the new environment and doing the different stuff compare what i have learnt in my previous high school. However, me and my fellow mates still get to face through it and overcome at the end. I am happy with the progress and the work neither not having a good grades but still an amazing experience throughout all these progress.

Construction safety rules

The aim of the second project is to introduce implementation of sustainable landscapes, technologies,
community and green cities planning. In a group of 7, we will need to select a site and explore how wecan improve or implement sustainable landscape on site.
We have to submit 2 A1 boards for group work, and for individual work, we are to submit a 6 pages of A5 booklet and also a soft copy submission.
For the first A1 board, we have to conduct a case study about Seoul on the green cities planning. We will need to introduce the cultural landscape and implementation of sustainable landscapes, technologies and green cities planning principles. Besides, we need to research on the keywords of green cities, community, sustainable cities and how it benefits the economy, social and environment.
For the second A1 board, we will be given a site which is RAPID Komuter Subang Jaya and have to research about each neighbourhood context within 1km radius. We have to include the interaction of spaces, human activity and their responses that can be relate to the given site. Also, we need to study its existing cultural landscape, connectivity, circulation, context and built form of each area.

For the individual booklet, I studied one element which is street scape within the site given from the station. I need to find ways to improve its cultural landscapes and implement sustainable landscapes, technologies, community involvement and green cities planning principles within the site. I have to introduce my site, ideas and how you can improve it to be more sustainable

After doing this project, I learned that if one were to just judge by the cover, they would missed many valuable and interesting features beneath something, just like the campuses. The very first moment I thought of the project was that other than the similar exterior design they had, all the other things were just like the common campuses, but I realized that I was so wrong when I researched deep into the topic to find out they were actually very interesting comparisons that was worth a look.

Other than that, we work very well as a team during this project . The friendship between us were increase after this assignment. We have learnt about the progress of building a building. From the approval given by the MBPJ until ending of the construction we have known all the procedure. Furthermore, it was a very good lesson to have this assignment for our final project. Our knowledge was getting increase, we would not be newbie as the August intake. However, we were still not the master yet just a little bit better than people who don’t have any basic and in a way of architecture journey we are in the rite path. Other than that, I have learnt about teamwork and communication skills between group mate which included Ray Tan Wing Hoe. With the hard work we have done together and our report we only completed in a good quality based on our survey and research from the internet, construction check list and books we manage to have a high accuracy report compare as the report people nowadays used for their construction work. Therefore, thank you to Taylor’s Universities for giving us an opportunity to get involved in this assignment our tankful cannot be describe with even million words of thank you. Besides that, me and my partner Ray, Tan Wing Hoe will end this report with the last sentence.

Based on this project i have to deal with my friends, therefore the relationship between friends were increase and better understanding of each other. Throughout this whole project i am more understanding with the verbs of hideout. Creating a hideout is not easy but it is a way of progressing learning in our course based on future we have to face to different types of problems that related to creativities.
